The county also houses Coastal Carolina University, the Horry-Georgetown Technical College Conway and Grand Strand Campuses, the Webster University Myrtle Beach Campus, the Miller-Motte College Conway Campus, and the Pittsburgh Institute of Aviation providing access to a total labor force of over 150,000 and a unionization rate of only 1.5%.
